Notes:
A winning or losing streak is
based on consecutive picks that are correct or incorrect,
respectively. The order of picks is based on top to bottom
if written, or first to last if oral. If you lose a bet using
the +6 rule, that game will not count toward a losing streak,
but will not end a losing streak. Pushes end both winning
and losing streaks.
The tie-breaker pool goes to
the player with the lowest aggregate tie-breaker differential
at the end of the season. A running total will be kept each
week of your tie-breaker differential. For example, if your
off by 4 the 1st week, then 7 the next week, your year-to-date
tie-breaker aggregate would be 11.
If more than one player reaches
a "carrot" milestone in the same week, the player
farthest over the milestone wins. The $100 added for the next
week counts towards reaching a milestone (i.e. if you hit
$900, you essentially have reached $1000 since you get $100
for the next week). If a carrot doesn't get paid out, the
Bookie Pool champion gets the prize.
You must bet 8 or more +6 games
to qualify for the +6 winning percentage prize.
The "low-ball" pool
goes to the player with the least amount of play money at
the end of the season. Any ties are decided by the player
with lowest winning percentage.
See rule
9 for breaking ties.
